New Alljoist from Boise EWP, part of the popular Simple Framing System, has been designed for use in floor and roof systems needing to match the old 9 inch deep carcassing joist.

It is new in Boise's portfolio of high performance, engineered wood products for housebuilders and is certified for use by TRADA Q MARK Mimicking the shape and load distribution of steel girders, Alljoists feature a web formed from a high-grade OSB separating flanges of Canadian spruce

Alljoist is available up to 12m in length, is light and has eased edges for safe handling.

Ease of use is primary in the development of the product - the wide nailing surfaces make for easy fixing of decking and plasterboard, there are pre-stamped knockout holes for easy routing of wiring and plumbing, the OSB web is ideal for service hole location and the timber base of the product enables easy factory or site trimming.

The inherent stability, stiffness and strength of these joists mean that neither herringbone strutting or blocking is required.

This stiffness results in flat and quiet floors.

However, their increase in strength is not at the expense of weight; the Alljoist is half the weight of a conventional solid timber joist yet provides reliable, firm and quiet floor structures.

Boise Engineered Wood Products IS chain of custody certified to PEFC and SFI standards.
