Now a trainee plumber with Bramall Construction, Lisa has been charged with upholding the reputation of the company's site workers on its Trafford site in Manchester.

Big Brother's Lisa is a reformed character - swear jar in hand, she's been tasked with retaining standards amongst Manchester's building site workers Loveable Manc Lisa from Beswick spent 37 days in the Big Brother house last year where she was best known for her four-letter word outbursts

She was recorded swearing 88 times in the space of just 20 minutes.

Now a trainee plumber with Bramall Construction, Lisa has been charged with upholding the reputation of the company's site workers on its Trafford site in Manchester.

"I've had to really tone down my swearing since joining Bramall.

I thought it would be impossible, but the swear jar soon put a stop to it.

I was going to end up penniless.

All the lads have to chip in as well and it's made a massive difference across the site.

It's dead funny watching us all trying to bite our tongues".

Lisa is one of 10 positive role models identified by Bramall to challenge perceptions of the construction industry and improve the working environment for both Bramall staff and local residents.

All Bramall sites across Greater Manchester are being targeted, with language, manners, and tidiness all being closely monitored.

Bill Sargeant, Bramall Construction Training Manager, said: "Lisa does need a volume control button but she's a cracking personality to have on site.

The swearing was terrible at first but she showed such determination to tone it down that we gave her the responsibility of keeping everyone else in check.

"It's all done in a very light hearted way but there is a serious objective to us assigning these role models.

The construction industry has traditionally suffered from a sexist, foul-language reputation but the reality is the building site is no longer the place it used to be.

We have 15 female site labourers at Bramall and demand immaculate manners from all our workers, these role models will ensure these high standards remain".

And when she's not on the construction site, Lisa has been watching this year's Big Brother competition, but she isn't too impressed: "This year isn't half as good as last year; the people just aren't as much fun.

Last year was one of the best BBs there have been but I'm finding all the housemates this year a bit boring.

I do like the twins though; they seem sweet and up for a laugh.

But Brian's my favourite, he's wicked.".
