Face lift for 1,500 homes in Merseyside

Bramall Construction win contract worth upwards of GBP11m to refurbish over 1,500 homes across the Wirral in Merseyside.

The contract, awarded by Wirral Partnership Homes, will see Bramall provide a range of works including kitchen and bathroom replacement, electrical upgrades and full rewiring.

The contract is worth GBP11-15m and will be carried out over the next four years, commencing in September.

Brian Simpson, chief executive of Wirral Partnership Homes, said: "We're pleased to announce the start of a new partnership with Bramall Construction".

"Bramall will be working alongside WPH Building Services, Connaught and Wates to deliver the improvement programme, fitting new kitchens and bathrooms to those homes that require them".

Wirral Partnership Homes is the largest social registered landlord on the Wirral, with responsibility for over 13,000 homes.

The contract with Bramall Construction is part of a GBP150m programme of improvements across its entire housing stock.

The work in Merseyside contributes to Bramall Construction's substantial portfolio of social housing projects across the North West.
