This mile stone was marked with the presentation of a Christmas Hamper to residents, Mr and Mrs Dixon of Wastdale Road where Bramall have fitted new double glazed windows, and new external doors on behalf of Parkway Green Housing Trust.

Mrs Dixon said, "The new windows and doors have made a massive difference to us now the weather is turning cold".

"We couldn't have asked for a better job".

"All the lad's have been wonderful, working around the fact that my husband is terminally ill".

"They took our circumstances into consideration and I was really stress free with there help".

"Thank you Bramall Construction!" Steve Wright, Contracts Manager for Bramall presented the Christmas hamper to the couple with Ian Gregg, Asset Manager for Parkway Green.

Steve said "we'd like to thank Mr and Mrs Dixon and all the tenants of Royal Oak and Newall Green for their patience and cooperation while we have been working in the area".

"They have had a hand in helping us to achieve this fantastic mile stone." Ian went on to say "Just over a year ago Parkway Green began to keep its promise to the residents of West Wythenshawe to deliver a programme of improvements to their properties by starting four improvement schemes on the day of transfer".

"With a lot of hard work and commitment from Parkway Green staff and our partnering contractors such as Bramalls we have refurbished well over 2000 homes and spent in excess of GBP13m".

"Bramalls reaching this 500th milestone on their window and door replacement scheme is testament to how well they are doing in terms of working with Parkway Green to deliver our promises".

Bramall Construction is currently working with Parkway Green Housing Trust through the Impact Manchester Framework delivering refurbishment and upgrades on over 2500 homes in the Wythenshawe area.

The external contract started in March 2007 and includes the replacement of all lintels doors and windows.
