Bramall to provide extra care for the elderly

A Bramall Construction product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 12, 2009

Bramall Construction is to provide a care facility with self-contained accommodation for people over 55 in Soham, Cambridgeshire.

The facility will replace an existing sheltered housing scheme and will allow residents to live independently with access to community facilities and services, providing 24-hour care and support.

The facility will eventually include a shop, hairdressers, gym, restaurant, catering facilities, community lounges and a coffee bar which will be open to the wider community in Soham.

The scheme will be built in two separate phases to minimise disruption to existing occupants.
