Borras have been awarded the prestigious contract to extend and refurbish Building 38 for the world-renowned School of Management at Cranfield University The original building predates the University and is one of the original 'H' shaped buildings from the site's days as an RAF Station

Facetted patent glazing will enclose a double storey space to the front of the building to provide an interaction area and cafe whilst the rear will be extended to create a multi purpose seminar room together with office and research facilities.

A general refurbishment of the existing building with new mechanical and electrical installation throughout will complete the scheme.

Borras Director, Kelvin Insch, commented "This is a prestigious project for Borras Construction which naturally builds on the substantial portfolio of works undertaken by us across the whole of the Education Sector".

"We are delighted to be working with Cranfield University".
