Following the recent award of Corby Council's 'Decent Homes' three year framework, Borras Construction has opened a new operating office in the town Chris Wright, Deputy Managing Director, said "the opening of this new office strengthens our commitment to the region and provides new job opportunities in the community"

The work involved includes the installation of new kitchens and bathrooms to over 400 houses in Corby and is due for completion in 2008.

Borras Construction already has extensive experience of working with Corby Council.

Since 2000 we have been involved with a programme of work which has included the PRC upgrade of 88 Wimpey No-Fines and 120 BISF homes.

The Borras activity in and around Corby is not just limited to the social housing sector: The General Contracts team are involved in a major refurbishment of two floors of Grosvenor House in the town centre for the local Borough Council.

The works will transform the old ground floor public house into a new One Stop Shop facility and the first floor night club into a new council chamber and flexible office accommodation.
