Bobcat launches enhanced 1.6 tonne mini-excavators
Bobcat, manufacturer of the widest range of market-leading compact equipment, has launched new enhanced versions of the company's 320 and 322 1.6 tonne mini-excavators.
Bobcat 323 mini-excavator digs deeper and faster.
New 323 mini-excavator meets a market need for a very compact mini-excavator with greater reach for digging and loading.
The package includes delivery to site with three standard buckets and the extra protection of a three year warranty as standard.
The operating lease schemes are also termed 'Rent to Rent' as the customer pays for usage not ownership.
At the start of each contract, a fair market residual value is agreed for the 319 machine, against which future payments are set, thus reducing monthly outgoings for the customer.

New compact tracked loader models from Bobcat
Bobcat has introduced new improved versions of its range of compact tracked loaders.
There is the option of a three-month deferral allowing the customer to earn money on the new machine before lease payments begin.
At the end of the three year lease, there are a further three options - to return the machine to Bobcat or purchase the 319 at a 'fair' market value or to extend the lease.
John Burton, Regional Manager for Bobcat in UK and Ireland, said: "The launch of the new 319 mini-excavator has been very successful and the new finance schemes will help to gain us more market share in the 1.2 - 1.5 tonne market in the UK".
Mr Burton felt the 'Rent to Rent' schemes would be very popular with plant and tool hire companies: "With 75% utilisation and above, the hire company can make a profit worth well over 100% of the total lease payments during the three years of the scheme".
The attractiveness of the new finance schemes is complemented by the design of the 319, which is the first mini-excavator in the 1.2 - 1.5 tonne class to offer as standard an expandable undercarriage.
With the undercarriage retracted to under one metre wide (980 mm), the 319 can pass through doorways, gateways and narrow lanes where larger machines cannot go.
Once on the jobsite, the undercarriage can be hydraulically expanded to 1363 mm for maximum stability in digging and loading applications.
With a weight of 1271 kg with canopy and 1400 kg with enclosed cab, the new Bobcat 319 mini-excavator can be transported easily on a trailer towed by a small truck, van or even a passenger car.
To illustrate the ease of transport, the tow weight of the cabbed version of the 319 with two buckets on a standard 650 kg trailer is around 2100 kg.
For enhanced safety when transporting the mini-excavator on the road, the 319 has a mechanical swing lock mechanism.
Powered by a 9.9 kW Kubota Tier II D722 diesel engine running at 2500 rpm, the 319 offers a maximum digging depth of 2008 mm and a maximum dump height of 2281 mm.
With a maximum reach at ground level of 3590 mm, the 319 requires less repositioning for digging and other applications.
The 319 is ideally suited for the equipment rental industry, covering applications in many areas: utilities, landscaping, house and office building, construction, local authorities and nurseries.
Altogether, the Bobcat 319 mini-excavator provides an unmatched combination of operator comfort, power, performance and versatility for a machine of this size. Request a free brochure from Bobcat ...
