At Saltex 2006, Bobcat, a business of diversified industrial firm Ingersoll-Rand Company Limited, will be launching a new turbo version of the company's ground-breaking Toolcat 5600 Utility Work Machine which is designed for work for local authorities, golf courses, parks, farms, smallholdings, country estates, historic houses, gardens and nurseries The Toolcat Utility Work Machine is at the centre of an exciting array of Bobcat equipment, including a new version of the T3571 telehandler and the new 319 1.3 tonne mini-excavator, both of which are appearing for the first time at the show

Other products will include the 2200D diesel-powered utility vehicle, the T140 compact tracked loader, the S130 skid-steer and the MT52 mini track loader.

These will be shown equipped with examples from the Bobcat attachment range for applications in grounds and amenity maintenance, turf management and landscaping.

The new turbo-powered Toolcat 5600 model has a new mainframe and front work group including a new lift arm, tilt linkage and lift and tilt cylinders, providing more efficient lifting capability and reduced tilt rollback.

The design of the new front work group together with a new high flow hydraulic system has increased the number of attachments that can be used on the Toolcat machine.

The new high flow hydraulic system also provides for faster cycle times when working with the machine.

In another important enhancement, the Toolcat 5600 now offers mechanical self-levelling in both directions when lifting and lowering loads.

Driven by a powerful 41.8 kW (56 HP) Kubota turbodiesel engine, the new Toolcat 5600 model combines 4-wheel drive and all-wheel steering with a versatile suspension system, providing a smooth ride at top travel speeds of up to 29 km/h.

The front loader has a rated operating capacity of 680 kg, a lifting height of 2141 mm (pivot pin) and reach of 1.08 m.

With a box load capacity of 905 kg, the Toolcat utility work machine can comfortably carry the weight of leaf mulch, tree stumps, sand and other goods.

The new version of the T3571 telehandler incorporates many of the enhancements introduced by Bobcat in the company's telehandler range over the last 12 months.

The enhancements include new Dana axles and integrated front axle levelling system.

In addition, the cab and engine compartment have been redesigned for improved visibility from the cab, better engine basket accessibility, more efficient exhaust and piping systems and reduced noise level.

The T3571 telehandler provides a maximum lifting capacity of 3.5 tonne, a maximum lift height of 7.12 m and a maximum reach of 4.06 m, with a capacity at maximum reach of 1350 kg.

Bobcat will also be showing the company's new 319 1.3 tonne mini-excavator for the first time at Saltex.

The 319 is the first in the 1.2 - 1.5 tonne mini-excavator class to offer as standard an expandable undercarriage.

With a weight of 1271 kg with canopy and 1400 kg with enclosed cab, the new Bobcat 319 mini-excavator can be transported easily on a trailer towed by a small truck, van or even a passenger car.

Altogether, the Bobcat 319 mini-excavator provides an unmatched combination of operator comfort, power, performance and versatility for a machine of this size.

The 2200D diesel-powered utility vehicle complements the Toolcat Utility Work Machine and has an aluminum frame, chassis and cargo box floor, combining optimum corrosion resistance with a low overall operating weight of only 650 kg and low ground pressure.

Nevertheless, the load capacity of the spacious cargo box is 363 kg (454 kg optional).

In addition, the unique 4x4 Intellitrak drive system allows the Bobcat 2200D to haul cargoes comfortably, climb grades with ease and tackle tough terrain.

The T140 compact tracked loader is the most compact product of its type on the market and has a width with bucket of only 1.42 m, a height of less than 2 m and an operating weight of 2914 kg.

Dedicated rubber tracks provide superior traction, flotation and very low ground pressure for working effectively on very soft or muddy ground and sand, as well as on uneven terrain.

The T140 has radial lift boom arms and has a rated operating capacity of 650 kg.

It is powered by the 34.3 kW Kubota V2203 diesel engine. Request a free brochure from Bobcat ...
