When removing snow on flat surfaces, the flotation feature can be locked into a rigid position by using the loader tilt function.
In addition to the snow pusher, Bobcat offers a variety of other snow attachments, including snow blowers and blades, buckets and sweepers, as well as more specialist tools such as the Bobcat super scraper and salt and sand spreader.
These attachments are designed to remove snow and ice from urban and country roads, pavements, bike paths, parks and similar areas.
Bobcat offers three snow blower models with widths varying from 914 to 2134 mm.
The snow blowers offer maximum throw distances from 7.6 to 13.7 metres and have a rotating chute and deflector to point the snow in the direction desired.
The Bobcat snow blade, available in five widths from 1219 to 2438 mm, is designed to quickly remove light or moderate snow from pavements and driveways.
An optional end wing kit converts the 2134 and 2438 mm models into high-production snow pushers, ideal for car parks and other larger areas.
The versatile Bobcat snow V-blade, which is available in five different widths, can be used in five configurations: as a V-blade, scoop blade, straight blade and 30o left or 30o right angle blade.
Large capacity buckets with widths from 1371 to 2540 mm and capacities from 0.36 to 1.53 m3, are available for loading and handling snow.
They have high backs to help with pushing snow and straight sides to penetrate snow piles.
For the removal of light snowfalls with depths of 100 mm or less, the Bobcat angle broom is an ideal attachment for use on pathways, providing quick access for pedestrians by removing snow in just one pass.
The Bobcat sweeper attachment can sweep and collect fine snow from pathways and driveways in both forward and reverse directions.
Another useful tool for snow removal is the Bobcat whisker push broom.
The Bobcat super scraper and mini scraper attachments, which are highly efficient at dislodging packed snow and ice, provide an environmentally friendly alternative to the use of chemicals or salt.
