Bobcat, manufacturer of the widest range of market-leading compact equipment, has launched new enhanced versions of the company's 320 and 322 1.6 tonne mini-excavators.
The new Man Platform is part of a wide-ranging selection of Bobcat attachments for use with all types of Bobcat tool carrier from excavators and loaders to telehandlers.
The new E08 and E10 micro-excavators are designed and engineered to provide the best combination of high performance, stability, operator safety, ergonomics and durability in the micro-excavator market.
The E08 micro-excavator is a conventional model with a machine weight of 1028 kg and a maximum digging depth of 1.82 m.

The E10 model is a zero tail swing micro-excavator with a maximum digging depth of 1.82 m and a machine weight of 1066 kg.
Easy to transport, the E08 and E10 micro-excavators are the smallest models in the Bobcat range.
Both have a retractable undercarriage that takes the width of the machine down to only 710 mm, allowing easy access to sites.
Once the excavators are positioned and ready for work, the undercarriage on the E08 and E10 can be expanded to 1000 mm and 1100 mm, respectively, for maximum stability in all working conditions.
A key feature particularly for the equipment rental, demolition and construction industries is the durability of the new E08 and E10 micro-excavators.
Both machines are designed specifically for extended life performance and reduced cost of ownership.
Ideal for a variety of applications including demolition, refurbishment, landscaping, trenching, drainage and other jobs, both the E08 and E10 models feature the 'cylinder-over-boom' design used on other 1-2 tonne Bobcat compact excavators, the 319, 321 and 323 models, all of which will be exhibited at the show.
Another feature of the Bobcat display will be the presence of most of the zero tail swing models in the company's range, namely the 428, 430, 435 and 442 excavators.
At SED, Bobcat will show a new Man Platform attachment mounted on the 17-metre T40170 telehandler model.
The EC approved Man Platform expands the range of attachments for Bobcat telehandlers and is approved for use on the three largest models in the range: the 12 m T35120SL MP, 14 m T40140 and 17 m T40170 telehandlers.
The new Man Platform from Bobcat provides a number of advances over similar products on the market.
It is easy to use and incorporates a number of unique features resulting in enhanced safety, increased productivity and excellent reliability.
Made of steel instead of aluminium offering additional solidity, the new Man Platform can be expanded quickly from a starting width of 2.4 m to its full width of 4 m in just 10 seconds.
The new Bobcat T2250 telehandler offers features and benefits of the skid-steer loader, articulated wheeled loader and telehandler in one machine.
In effect, the new T2250 is three machines in one, offering exceptional versatility for a wide range of applications such as plant hire, construction, industry, builders' merchants and landscaping.
With a height of 1970 mm, width of 1800 mm and length (without attachment) of 4190 mm, the 4.5 tonne T2250 is as compact as Bobcat's largest skid-steer loader models and yet offers a loading performance comparable to that of an equivalently sized articulated wheeled loader.
Among the new attachments on show at SED is a new range of soil conditioner attachments for Bobcat skid-steer, compact tracked and all-wheel steer loaders.
Ideal for preparing the ground for seeding or laying new turf, the soil conditioners can work in either forward or reverse direction, grading, levelling, filling and pulverising clumps of earth as well as separating out and windrowing debris and rocks.
The three new models added to the soil conditioner line include the standard flow SC-60 (working width: 152 cm) with hydraulic angling and hydraulic depth control, and two new high flow models, the SC-72HF and SC-84HF, with working widths of 183 cm and 213 cm, respectively.
The 152 cm model was designed for operating in tight areas and, because the drum is 30 cm shorter than on the 183 cm models, torque is greatly improved on S130 and T140 loaders.
The 152 cm model also is intended for use on the new S100 skid-steer loader.
The high flow models were designed to increase significantly drum torque at the same time that the drum speed is similar to standard flow models.
Increased torque is useful when operating in rich soils, allowing operators to move more dirt and grade more efficiently.
Thanks to the increased torque, the high flow soil conditioner models are effectively powered box blades allowing excellent grading ability and soil preparation with one attachment.
The SC-72HF model has been optimised for the high flow circuit on medium frame loaders, whilst the SC-84HF model has been optimised for the high flow circuit on large frame loaders. Request a free brochure from Bobcat ...
