In each show they select a shortlist of three properties from the nation's finest which compete to be crowned the ultimate example of their genre.
The BPT equipment fell into the Hi-Tech episode and was installed in the 'techno mews house' in Bayswater, London which boasted 'technology integrated with style'.
Fitted to the exterior of the house, the BPT surface mounted Targha entry panel features a backlit 12-key keypad to provide secure entry, whilst removing the need - and subsequent cost - for an access control system.
The keypad allows for 100 codes to be stored, with each person having their own personal code.
Visitors use the same panel to request entry.
The Targha keypad panels come in audio and video versions, are anodised aluminium in colour and feature pleasant amber LED back lighting to ensure visibility.
They can be used with any of BPT's door entry systems and are ideal for applications that require an attractive yet economical panel.
Internally, the award winning Nova monitor was selected - the ultimate in modern design with functionality.
Nova is the smallest colour door entry system monitor available in the industry and comes in a sleek, minimalist designed unit that can be flush mounted into a wall, making it unobtrusive.
What's more, it's hands free operation for communication and push buttons with symbols indicating usage make the Nova monitor very easy to use - certainly something that impressed Mario!
