Bradstone Goes Balinese At Center Parcs
Devastated by fire last April, Bradstone has played a role in rebuilding Center Parcs at Elveden Forest, Thetford.
However, the couples are also rivals in the battle to win it because as the house goes up, so the workforce goes down, as the couples that contribute the least are 'laid-off'! Bradstone already work with many self-builders providing product for hundreds of properties every year.
The "weathered oolite rustic walling" being supplied is made using materials from local, Bradstone owned quarries.
Rebastone offers a range of reconstructed stone building blocks, which are manufactured using natural stone aggregate and can provide a sympathetic finish to match local requirements, at a fraction of the cost of using natural stone.
"The product Rebastone was chosen by the architects who designed the house because they actually drove past a house being built using the Rebastone product and stopped to enquire about it!" explained David Griffiths, Head of Marketing, Aggregate Industries UK Ltd.
"Because the product comes from local, Bradstone owned quarries, it means a short lead time for supplies and it's also good for the local area - we're thrilled to be involved," he added.
The show climaxes in a live finale at the end of July, where the viewers decide which of the two surviving couples will get to keep the keys and turn the Building the Dream house into their dream home! Bradstone provides walling, roofing and cast stone products to the house building and commercial sectors.
The Rebastone range is available nationwide and is suitable for a variety of applications including private housing, commercial developments, educational, civil and industrial projects.
