Bradstone to supply product for the development of three semi-detached houses and two bungalows located within a 'Special Landscape Area'.

When architects decided to build new homes in a rural Northamptonshire village, a match was needed for the local 100 year old weathered stone Bedford architects, Levitt and Partners, called upon Bradstone to supply product for the development of three semi-detached houses and two bungalows at Morgan's Close, in the village of Polebrook Nr Oundle

Located within a 'Special Landscape Area' it was vital to meet Northamptonshire's East District Council planning regulations that the product matched the special architectural character of the area.

Bradstone's Rough Dressed finish in Southwold shade and Cast Stone Dressings in North Cerney Grey were chosen because of their suitability in perfectly matching the local village stone.

The very nature of Bradstone's offering - an individual product that blends with the local natural stone - means that Bradstone is ideal for architects and specifiers wanting to use traditional looking materials but without the limitations of natural product.

Mark Barter, Commercial Manager for structural products comments, "Bradstone's products are produced to match local characteristics in a multitude of areas, and offer a cost effective means of replicating traditional rural designs".

"We are delighted to be able to assist the local council in sourcing products that keeps with the existing traditional feel of the village".

This is not the first time that Bradstone have supplied product for the East Northamptonshire District Council's development schemes, with Bradstone being specified for the Bryant Homes development at Warmington, Northamptonshire.
