For example, Brockhouse designed, manufactured and installed five movable walls for The Petchey Academy in Hackney, London, giving advice on acoustic performance, to ensure compliance with the latest regulations on acoustics in schools.

The main hall solution included a bespoke design edge profile which enabled a smooth curved wall to be formed.

The dining side of the divided hall has a bright-yellow laminate finish and on the drama hall side, the screen has special sound-absorbent board that creates acoustic excellence.

Brockhouse have created a 20-point quality checklist to help schools ask the right questions when specifying or purchasing movable walls - you can download this from their website where you can also view the latest videos showing the products and projects.

Brockhouse also supply Hushboard, a new durable 100 per cent polyester acoustic decorative interior wall covering that transforms noisy interiors by reducing 40 per cent of reverberated (echo) noise.

You can watch the Hushboard video or to request samples via the Brockhouse website.
