Providing a number of aesthetically pleasing and practical hard landscaping solutions, the Brett Paving ranges of Sigma, Omega and Alpha may be used to create parking areas in a wide variety of situations, from hospitals and supermarkets to high tech business parks and town centres.
Sigma is a paving block which allows the grass to grow through and is ideal for large areas that demand a continuous hard surface but need to look attractive.
The 80mm thick block is designed to withstand light vehicle use and provides a softer look than traditional surfaces.
Voids within the blocks may be filled with soil and seeded with grass.
The surface created is free draining thus reducing surface run-off and site drainage requirements.
Functional yet attractive, Brett Paving's Omega is a 200mm x 100mm block paving that is offered in a range of colours and, with 50mm, 60mm and 80mm thicknesses available, is capable of withstanding the passage of fully laden lorries.
Where required Omega Finesse may be employed as it has a reduced chamfer which provides a smoother surface for wheelchairs, trolleys, prams and buggies.
Reflective blocks in yellow and white and marker blocks in red and black can be set in patterns for the purpose of safety, smooth traffic flow and delineation.
Alpha has rounded, rumbled edges that soften any setting and create a cobbling effect.
Large, medium and small sizes in 50mm, 60mm and 80mm thicknesses are available and it is suitable for normal to heavy vehicular traffic.
The blocks may be incorporated into a wide range of laying patterns that are enhanced by an exciting array of colours which can be used individually or mixed to contrast, complement or blend, making it popular with architects and developers.
Sigma, Omega and Alpha blocks from Brett Paving are all laid in a sand bed over a granular sub-base and complementary ranges of kerbs, edge restraint and drainage systems are available.
