Huge Investment At Atlas To Meet New Season Demand
Due to demand for Atlas Stone landscaping products, significant investment is being made to boost production levels and supply new product lines.
The Trief Kerbs have been installed around the petrol islands, pump areas and around the parking bays.
Steve Jones Company Buyer from GB Forecourts, specialist forecourt contractor was responsible for installing the product: "I had used Brett Landscaping and Building Products before and knew that the level of service was high," said Steve.
"Brett provided detailed drawings for the job and we received a lot of support from the technical and design team through the installation process".
An obvious solution for the vulnerable areas of a service station, the concave recess of the Trief Kerb provides a visual caution prompting drivers to steer away.
If a vehicle should veer towards the kerb, the recess traps the bulge in the tyre wall and redirects the vehicle back onto forecourt in a line dictated by the kerb.
"Protection is a vital requirement in an area used by heavy goods vehicles," said Sandy McAllister, Principal from AMCA Architecture + Design who was at the time the architect for the project at Harthill.
"The Trief Kerb prevents the vehicles' large tyres from causing any damage to the pump islands." Designed for all environments where the need to contain vehicles and protect pedestrians is paramount the Trief Kerb delivers proven safety on highways, service stations, parapets and edge beams of bridges.
"The Harthills Service Station not only demonstrates the effectiveness off the Trief Kerb," said Shirley Mansfield, marketing director of Brett Landscaping and Building Products.
"It also proves the capabilities of our design and technical team".
The Trief Kerb is available in a range of sizes and application types including Trief Cadet and Chevron to complement any existing urban schemes where containment is a requirement.
Brett Landscaping and Building Products also offer a design and cutting service to ensure the best possible results for any project.
