New look Brett Landscaping and Building Products is continuing to expand its product portfolio with the introduction of the T-Flow concrete block paving system.
Middle East contractors Al Futtaim Carillion are using the kerbs as part of the Festival City project in Dubai.
The Festival City Project will incorporate city offices and amenities, numerous hotels, residential areas, golf courses, Marinas, nightclubs and restaurants.
It is the Middle East's largest, privately funded mixed-use real estate development.
Despite geographical difficulties, Brett won the contract on availability, price and shipping times.
This was in part thanks to its good relationship with specialised distribution companies, and because it has the right contacts to help with the technicalities of completing marine insurance and certification of documents required for entry into the United Arab Emirates.
Peter Dale, Major Projects Manager for Brett Landscaping and Building Products said: "Due to these good relationships we were able to guarantee a 22 day shipping lead time".
"But we also had to have an exceptionally quick turn around in providing specification, price, availability and completing the additional documentation to the contractors, which we managed to do.".
