Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 13, 2010

Brett Landscaping has donated more than 70m2 of its Broadway riven flag paving to a new sensory garden in Loughborough.

The pledge comes as part of the company's Love Your Landscape initiative, and will benefit wheelchair users and people with limited mobility at Charnwood Gardening Project, part of Voluntary Action Charnwood.

Volunteers cleared and levelled the ground, and the products from Brett Landscaping were used to create a large, accessible paved area, complemented by raised beds made with railway sleepers.

Donations were also received to purchase a greenhouse.

Sarah Gretton, of Brett Landscaping said: "This new sensory garden will give wheelchair users and people with limited mobility the chance to enjoy the outdoors".

"Being able to donate materials which we make locally, free of charge, to such a worthy community project is what the Love Your Landscape initiative is all about".

"We were pleased to be invited to the official opening and wish all at the project every success for the future".
