Brett Landscaping supports Big Society concept

A Brett Landscaping product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 22, 2010

Brett Landscaping is supporting the idea of 'Big Society', by PM David Cameron, where communities are empowered and a culture of volunteerism is encouraged.

Chris Droogan, managing director at Brett Landscaping said that 'Big Society' fits very well with the company's 'Love Your Landscape' initiative; Brett Landscaping donates products and assistance to worthy community projects in need of help.

The initiative has been in place for over a year and has helped a wide range of projects, including a community lido in Bristol, a village cricket club in Barrow upon Soar, and a sensory garden in Loughborough.

Chris commented: "In the face of a harsh economic climate, and with less public money available, businesses and communities need to pull together to ensure that much loved and needed community facilities - which don't always have funds for maintenance and improvement - continue to serve the community.

Brett Landscaping is proud of its contribution to the various community projects we support through Love Your Landscape".
