Isover helps to insulate the O2
Acoustic and thermal insulation from Saint-Gobain Isover is helping to keep noise transference and heat loss to a minimum in the 02.
One of the key appeals to the housebuilder is that the system allows a return to preferred dry-fix lining methods unlike all the other "type approved" masonry wall constructions that force the use of a parge coat sand and cement wet-applied lining.
Not only does the E-WM-8 system offer construction cost benefits to the housebuilder but quicker completion times as a result of avoiding wet finishes can lead to improved cash flow.
Isover RD35, which is built into the party wall cavity during construction, has impeccable green credentials since around 80% of its constituent components are recycled glass.
The product is one of three products and systems shortlisted by Builder and Engineer and the winner will be announced in a ceremony at The Palace Hotel in Manchester on October 10th.
