Saint-Gobain Isover gets new MD
From information to insulation - that is the move Brian Dolan has made to become the new managing director of Saint-Gobain Isover.
Brian has been appointed to head up the UK's leading manufacturer of mineral wool insulation He joins the Runcorn-based company from British Gypsum where he had been finance and information systems director for the past five years

With his experience, Brian's recruitment to the Isover team will represent a significant step forward in this process.
A chartered accountant by profession, Brian, age 49, has had extensive experience within the BPB Group, including positions as finance director of the Moy-Isover insulation joint venture in Ireland and chief finance officer for BPB's Asia region following its major acquisitions in China and Thailand.
He joins Isover at an interesting time for the company and the industry - Isover enjoying a prolonged period of exciting innovation as well as investment in improved production facilities at its Runcorn plant and the industry reaping the rewards of a Government focus on using sustainable insulation as the simplest single method of reducing our carbon footprint.
"The success of the past five years, combined with the strong future growth of the insulation industry ideally positions Isover to continue in its drive to be at the forefront of innovation and provide sustainable building solutions," he said.
An Irish citizen, Brian is married with two children.
His predecessor Alex McLeod leaves the insulation business after five years to take Brian's previous position at British Gypsum.
