Isover launches revolutionary ductwork system
New ductwork system from Saint-Gobain Isover replaces the traditional sheet metal and insulation approach with rigid insulation boards but still meets thermal, fire and acoustic regulations.
The group, through RK Timber Engineering and Pasquill Roof Trusses now has a total of eight timber engineering manufacturing plants across the UK, giving a robust national supply network.
Gordon Campbell, Sales Director at RK Timber Engineering said: "With the increase in demand of pre-fabricated and off-site manufactured products, the services and products supplied by both RK Timber Engineering and Pasquill will continue to grow".
"This new site prepares us for this rise in demand and allows us to offer a dedicated service to our clients".
Trussed rafters are now the most widely used form of roof framing in the UK, and increasingly the only practical method of framing to turn an architectural vision into a working roof structure.
The new site also includes an I-beam processing plant in order to meet increased demand by customers who are choosing I-beams as their first choice in floor joists.
The I-beam offers advanced technology in timber engineering and by supporting increased loads over wider spans, time and money is saved during the installation process.
