Ground broken for new plasterboard plant

The new Sherburn plant, which will be commissioned in late 2006, will increase British Gypsum's plasterboard capacity by around 20%.
This will meet growing demand resulting from recent changes to domestic building regulations and PPG3 planning rules, as well as increasing penetration of plasterboard-based drylining techniques in both the commercial and residential sectors.
