British Gypsum 'Off-site' on show at
Interbuild
After more than ten years away, British Gypsum is returning to Interbuild in 2007 with a stand dedicated to the company's off-site solutions.
A growing element of the new build housing market, off-site manufacture offers a solution to the quality issues sometimes associated with site-built methods, but introduces new challenges for manufacturers whose panellised systems not only have to compete cost-wise with 'traditionally built' panels, but must be extra robust to cope with the stresses and strains of factory to site transportation In conjunction with off-site manufacturers, British Gypsum has therefore developed new Glasroc Rigidur H BIG BOARDS, full panel size lining boards which remove the need for joints in normal sized wall panels and provide improved racking resistance - key for improved panel handling

British Gypsum say 'Think sound - think blue'
Think sound-think blue', is the latest message from British Gypsum following a move to standardise the face colour of all products in the company's Gyproc SoundBloc acoustic board range.
Board sizes of up to 2500mm X 6000mm can be supplied cut to manufacturer's panel requirements, reducing on-line preparation, and any cut-outs returned to British Gypsum for recycling into the manufacturing process.
The rigid, high impact resistant gypsum fibreboards are manufactured using a unique process that gives a very high quality smooth finish, which removes the need for pre-decoration treatment and cuts out a whole costly and time-consuming stage of the production process for the off-site manufacturer.
Visitors to the British Gypsum Stand M120 in Hall 5, will have the opportunity to see new Glasroc Rigidur H BIG BOARDS, which are being exhibited for the first time, as well as the new Glasroc Rigidur-faced extreme impact partition, GypWall EXTREME, and discuss the complete product development and support package that the company now offers to both the on-site and off-site sectors.
