New Lift Leasing Scheme From £75 Per Week
Price Britton Price, the Hove-based lift company, has introduced a lift leasing scheme for its customers, particularly those in the Housing Association, Local Authority and care home sectors.
With costs starting from just £75 per week *, this presents an accessible means of providing the services that are greatly needed where disabled or infirm people are being cared for.
By leasing a lift, Britton Price's customers do not have to tie up large sums of capital to purchase a capital asset such as a lift, therefore freeing up capital to be better employed elsewhere.
In the Housing Association sector, the low cost of leasing a lift means that the residents can often manage the scheme payments through the Housing Association's sink fund, meaning that further capital is freed up.
By making use of the Britton Price's leasing scheme, customers can spread the capital cost by instalments over a term of up to 7 years, and in some cases up to 10 years subject to credit approval.
No initial deposit is required, and tax relief may also be given on the rentals paid.
"Leasing is a well-established, tax efficient method of financing a wide variety of capital equipment," states Christina Emerson, Marketing and Operations Controller at Britton Price.
"Nearly every sector of British business takes advantage of leasing, and we see the introduction of this scheme as further commitment to our customers in the care sector.
In some cases leasing also has a VAT advantage.
For businesses that are VAT-registered, the VAT charged on lease rentals is fully offset when paying VAT to Customs and Excise.
Britton Price's leasing scheme can be used to finance both new installations and refurbishments.
Where refurbishment of an existing lift is needed, the customer is required to relinquish title to the lift, and must also retain title to the building once the work is completed.
All leasing contracts are accompanied by a fully comprehensive service contract.
