The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) have agreed to jointly support OFFSITE2005, a four-day event in June 2005 to showcase the latest in modern methods of construction (MMC) OFFSITE2005 aims to demonstrate the ability of MMC to deliver quality homes, schools hospitals and commercial buildings that are creatively designed, energy efficient, sustainable and cost effective

In addition to Government support, the event has attracted wide ranging participation from industry in the form of sponsorship, and through the involvement of more than 50 exhibitors - several with full-scale, interactive demonstrations.

Major exhibitions will include: A full-scale MMC home illustrating the principles of PSA 8 (liveability) and MMC's capacity to deliver the Sustainable Communities Plan.

Exhibitor: English Partnerships.
