BRE appoints top environmental
consultant
BRE has appointed Dr Katherine Hyde as its new Director of Environmental Consultancy.

Dr Hyde has over 25 years' experience in environmental consultancy and research gained from the private consultancy and construction sectors, public laboratories and academic institutions.
Her appointment is a key part of BRE's strategy to strengthen and develop its Environmental Consultancy.
Between 2000 and 2002 she worked with TWC in Ghana on the award-winning Accra Waste Project, developing innovative infrastructure in wastewater treatment, and establishing a national working group on standards for the application of sludges and composts.
Dr Hyde is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Chartered Scientist, Chartered Chemist, Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management and Registered Expert Witness.
Professor David Strong, Managing Director of BRE Environment, says, "Katherine brings a wealth of valuable knowledge that will further enhance BRE's Environmental Consultancy expertise".
