British Standards Institution (BSI) announce the release of a brand new British Standard - BS 9251:2005 Sprinkler systems for residential and domestic occupancies.
It presumes that the sprinkler protection forms part of an integrated fire safety system.
Sprinkler systems provide an additional degree of protection for both life and property above smoke and/or other fire detection systems.
