BWF joins new BMF Affiliate Membership
British Woodworking Federation has become the first trade association to join BMF's new Affiliate Member category.
BMF Affiliate Membership is designed to foster good working relations with trade associations and other membership bodies that are relevant to the BMF and its members Chris Pateman, MD of BMF, said "Good relationships with other trade associations and allied bodies is vitally important if we are to work together to build a better and stronger industry for our Members and all concerned

Richard Lambert, chief executive of BWF, said: "We are delighted to join the BMF as an Affiliate Member.
We run a similar scheme and the idea behind this mutual agreement is to provide a formal link between the two organisations.
It allows us to share information about what each organisation is doing for its members and what we can do for each other to build links through a more integrated supply chain.
"We are currently working with the BMF to help them produce a guidance note on fire doors for its series of Product Selling Guides.
We also work with BMF to train builders' merchants on what to advise customers when selling fire doors and particularly their compatible components.
This provides cross selling opportunities for the merchants as well as our members and illustrates how we can work together for their benefit.".
