Bradfords bolsters Built in Quality
Over 300 people attended Mendip District Council's Built in Quality Awards, sponsored by Bradfords Building Supplies.

Panellists included Cllr.
Alistair Gordon, Mendip DC's policy holder for building control.
Winners were awarded a ceremonial plaque and a certificate; presented by Michael Eavis, founder and organiser of the Glastonbury music festival.
Tony Bedwell, Evercreech branch manager, attended from Bradfords, and was delighted to see awards won by many of the store's regular customers.
"It's great to see so many of our customers being formally recognised for their efforts," he said.
"The Built in Awards are a fantastic initiative, and it's great to have been involved".
The Built in Quality Awards are sanctioned by the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and are highly regarded in all sectors of the construction industry.
Local, regional and national competitions are held on an annual basis.
All in all, the Glastonbury event was very successful, with winners being put through to the regional finals.
Building on the event's success, Mendip District Council now plans to hold the awards ceremony annually.
