Bradfords are sponsoring sustainability
Bradfords Building Supplies announce its all-new range of sustainable timber building products will debut at the Ecos Trust's Homes for Good exhibition.
Ecos Trust's Homes for Good exhibition to be held between March 28 and 29th 2008 at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
Corina Reay, the show's coordinator, is delighted with Bradfords continued commitment to the exhibition.
"Bradfords has been a strong supporter of the show and its ideals since we started in 2004 and continues to be a key sponsor," she says.
"The main theme of the exhibition is sustainability; in building, landscape and lifestyle, and this year's show offerings will not disappoint".
The 2008 event will be the first time Bradfords showcases its fully sustainable timber-framed house.
The 6 m x 4 m display will incorporate standard timber frame construction materials, including a Super E wall display - a Canadian domestic timber innovation, now being offered by Bradfords.
Other Bradfords products on display include thermafleece wool insulation, a Thermo Wood panel, a Sno Dek patio, Lindab Rainwater Systems, Velux Solar Panels, Natural Slates, Smart Ply and FSC Timber samples.
Mike Tidmarsh, Bradfords' sales and marketing director explains more about the company's dedication to sustainable solutions.
"Homes for Good is a great platform for educating trade and consumers alike about the positive contributions they can make on an individual basis," he explains.
"Sustainability is something Bradfords firmly believes in and we want to be seen as a leader in the field".
"We hope the show will create further awareness of what Bradfords Group offers".
The Homes for Good show has gone from strength to strength since its beginnings, and has selected a larger venue than previous years to accommodate growing interest in sustainable construction.
Show attendees are predicted to be around the 5 - 8,000 mark over the two days - an even split of interested consumers and construction trade professionals.
More than 80 companies are scheduled as exhibitors, offering a host of eco-friendly building products and applications.
The Homes for Good exhibition is organised by Ecos Trust, the charitable branch of Ecos Homes.
The organisation promotes environmentally-sound, high quality design and building techniques, to produce buildings that give a better quality of life and reduced impact on the environment.
