Beckair offers debris removal with Air Knife
Beckair offers the AK3200 Ionising Air Knife which helps to remove static, dust and debris in building and manufacturing applications concerning wood and glass.
Beckair is introducing the AK3200 Ionising Air Knife which is a long distance static eliminator that prevents the dangers and costly problems associated with static such as spark explosions, fires, property damage, product defects and injury to workers.
AK3200 Ionising Air Knife
Applications the AK3200 Ionising Air Knife is suitable for includes blowing dust and sawdust off plywood and timber sheets before varnishing, preventing insulation from clinging to appliances, eliminating static on pressed parts and several others.
The manufacturing of wood doors creates a build-up of static charges.
Static occurs when placing a film on the edges of the doors using an adhesive material.
When the film comes off the rollers static particles are present on its surface.
In addition to this the adhesive material may not cure in an acceptable time for the next step in the process.
Beckair’s AK3200 system can be used to eliminate static charges whilst also cooling and drying the adhesive material for rapid curing.
Part of the process of glass sheet production requires the sheets to be cooled and placed through a tempering oven.
However, prior to the sheets being placed in the oven it is likely that debris will have settled on the glass.
Consequently, if the glass sheets go through the tempering oven without being cleaned, the debris will melt into the glass surface creating unwanted defects resulting in lost production.
The AK3200 can be used to eliminate any static charges and clean the glass surface of contaminants to improve product quality.
The AK3200 can be used at a distance of up to 10ft away.
Other applications the AK3200 is suitable for includes blowing dust and sawdust off plywood and timber sheets before varnishing, preventing insulation from clinging to appliances, eliminating static on pressed parts and several others.
The AK3200 Ionising Air Knife can be easily mounted onto existing installations and can be supplied separately or as part of a system.
Beckair is committed to providing customers with a product that will considerably improve production speeds and product quality by offering a solution to static application problems.
