Andy Simpson has been appointed packed sales manager for national merchants at Castle Cement.

Andy Simpson has been appointed packed sales manager for national merchants at Castle Cement.

Andy (36) was previously the company's key account manager for the south of England.

Lancashire-born he joined Castle Cement as a sales representative in September 1997.

Based at the company's Padeswood works he was responsible for sales in the North West of England and Shropshire.

Prior to joining Castle Cement he was a waste management consultant for UK Waste in Bolton.

Andy will now be based at Castle's head office in Birmingham and said: "I look forward to working closely with new and existing contacts within the national accounts and enhancing our customer offer with new value-added products and services.".
