Cadre Components recently acquired the sole UK distribution rights to a range of innovative dry cladding systems that can replace conventional brickwork and timber used for rain-screen protection to the exteriors of buildings.

In stock, are an exciting range of panels including Stonechip (providing a pebble-dashed finish), Brick, Slate, Shiplap and a polyester and fibreglass lightweight roofing system that are extensively used elsewhere in Europe on new building projects to significantly shorten build times and allow earlier occupancy.

Installed to form the weatherproof outer skin for timber and steel framed or concrete panel structures, these cladding systems provide considerable flexibility in terms of time and cost savings over traditional methods.

Major attributes of the cladding systems are:.

* Cladding can be fixed to modular timber framed panels at the factory and delivered ready to site speeding up the entire building process making it very price competitive with alternative systems - A dry long lasting system that is easy and quick to install allows for flexibility that leads to significant added value in time cost savings, potential for less material wastage and a speedier build.

* An entirely dry, ventilated form of construction that is easy and quick to install, requiring no mortar or conventional bricklaying skills.

Panels clip together (typically tongue and groove) and can be cut and installed without the need for specialist tools or wet trades.

* Installation can take place even in adverse weather conditions.

Fitting can be undertaken 7 days a week - if required - regardless of the weather.

* Thermal insulation can be incorporated alongside the built in air gap between cladding and frame providing a 30% reduction in energy costs.

Completed facades reduce thermal load allowing the structure to breathe, thus protecting the building substance and its ultimate long term value, whilst also helping to reduce exterior noise.

* Systems come with a Manufacturer's Guarantee (Stonechip is guaranteed for 30 years and BBA durability tested) giving an assurance as to overall product life.

Completed systems are extremely stable, weather resistant and corrosion-free requiring the minimum of maintenance - no need for re-painting of timbers or repairs of exterior thermal cracks to rendered finishes.

* Complete systems are available - including window reveals, vents, corner and extension profiles, rust proof screws and lacquered stainless steel fixings.
