Rendaclik - cladding innovation from Cadre
Rendaclik is a unique ventilated cladding system, which is the first product of its kind to be supplied in tongue and groove strips.
In an industry where the performance of the building envelope is under constant scrutiny, St Helens based Cadre Components has launched Rendaclik, a major advance in sustainable cladding technology.
With the recent revision of the Building Regulations Parts E and L, Rendaclik has a stonechip finish and offers an alternative to conventional wet render, PVCu and timber products, providing significant cost-savings and installation options that conform with the building and environmental legislation currently affecting the UK construction market.
Timber or metal battens are applied to the external walls of a building onto which the Rendaclik is applied using conventional fixings.
The gap created behind the cladding can be filled with insulation, offering a potential annual saving of between 30% and 85% on energy bills and reducing external noise by as much as 50%*.
Furthermore, by separating the various layers of a wall's construction, Rendaclik can assist in drying out damp walls, thus reducing potential growth of the mould and fungus spores which are widely believed to cause respiratory and other health problems.
No major preparation, or removal of previous materials is required prior to application and any tradesman with joinery skills can install Rendaclik.
Smaller self-build projects can even be tackled by the layman in much the same way as laminate flooring, negating the need for specialist labour.
In addition, Rendaclik can be installed in all weathers, avoiding any major financial losses caused by delayed build projects.
Rendaclik is guaranteed for 30 years requiring nothing more than a periodical wash down with warm water and mild detergent, presenting further savings on maintenance, scaffolding and Health and Safety provision.
The development of this revolutionary system has its roots in Europe and in addition to BBA Certification from the UK, has been subject to stringent Quality Standards imposed by German and European regulation.
Cadre Components is the sole distributor of Rendaclik in the UK and provides cladding solutions for all commercial, public sector and domestic applications.
Shiplap and brick effect cladding systems are also supplied in a wide range of colours, with a full catalogue of accessories available to complete any facade quickly and easily.
