Being a dry-fixed system, Litetile is both simple to install and cost effective.
Catnic's Litetile roofing system provided them with the perfect answer.
Available in a wide range of colours, textures and finishes, Catnic's Academytile in a Jasper Red profile was selected for the project.
"We needed to use a roof that would blend in well with the club's environment but which would also be easy to fit, maintain and fall within the budget," said Kevin Young of Rhondda Asphalt.
"Catnic's roofing system footed the bill perfectly".
"For example, fewer trusses were needed to support the light weight roof".
"Overall the project used some 610 tiles, which we fixed with a quick and simple nailing system".
Fred Philips, Chairman of Llanyravon Social Club said, "We are extremely pleased with the results created by Catnic Litetile".
"We wanted a roofing solution that was cost effective without compromising on quality and were delighted with the end result".
Catnic Litetile has been used in a wide range of projects, both commercial and residential.
Each tile comes in single lengths of 1.67 metres, covering an area of 0.56 m2.
As with the Llanyravon Social Club project, the large size of the roofing tiles and the product's light weight properties means that fewer trusses and battens are needed to support the roof compared with traditional tiles.
The result for the roofing contractor is a system that is much faster and easier to install, meaning a roofing project can be completed in less time, causing minimal disruption to the client.
Other key benefits of Catnic Litetile are that it is extremely flexible - Litetile can easily accommodate design features such as dormer windows - and durable, ensuring that future maintenance costs will be kept to a minimum.
Catnic Litetile can also be attached to either timber or steel trusses and is a dry-fix system requiring no mortar.
Litetile has BBA certification and comes complete with a full 30 year product guarantee.
As a Catnic product, Litetile is also fully supported by the company's dedicated technical, design and sales support team.
