Builders Have Catnic In Their Pockets
Catnic, leading manufacturer of lintels and building components, has a new Lintel Pocket Guide, designed with the particular needs of its builder customers in mind.
However, in order to create the perfect shape, she needed to commission specialist lintels.
On the recommendation of her builders, she turned to leading lintels manufacturer, Catnic.
The club arches were a bespoke design by Catnic's dedicated feature design engineers and manufactured to order from hot dipped post galvanised steel.
Each lintel is double-spined and open backed and weighs over 135 Kg.
They are approximately 1.5metres high and 3.1metres long.
Catnic marketing director, John Pryer said: "We pride ourselves on delivering innovative products, backed up by a first class customer service.
"This was a totally unique design for us to manufacture, some of our engineers have been here more than 35 years and had never seen anything like it before.
We were delighted to have been able to manufacture these unique lintels to match Ms Idris' original design and time specifications".
"Catnic's renowned quality, in addition to its comprehensive design and technical support, made them a reassuring choice.
The design and installation of the club arch lintels span large openings and posed quite a challenge, which was made a lot easier by the advice given by Catnic's experienced engineers," added Ms Idris.
The project, which is due for completion early this year, was nine months in the planning, with a six-month build timeframe.
Catnic also manufacturers and distributes a range of plasterers' profiles and Qwikpost - the easy to use fence post support system.
Other Catnic products include its lightweight roofing system, Catnic Litetile, and Catnic Brikmat - the innovative brick and block spacing system that aids fast and accurate brick and block construction.
