Catnic Litetile perfect roof for Rydens school
Catnic's steel roofing system, Litetile, harmonise the colours of the new and existing roofs effectively at Rydens School in Surrey.
Steve Watson, Director of roofing contractor Kinder Roofing, said: "The quality of the Litetile products, in addition to the comprehensive technical support that Catnic provide, made them a reassuring choice for us.
Elitetile's added vandal proofing makes it an ideal profile for all types of residential, public and commercial buildings that require additional security protection2.
The Elitetile for Deepdale Junior School was specified in charcoal grey because of its likeness to the original 1920's slate and clay plaintile roof, while Catnic Litetile park ridge and hip tiles were specified in terracotta to replicate the original period characteristics of the school - amounting to 2,500 tiles in total.
A spokesperson from Lancashire County Council, said: "The range of Catnic Litetile colours meant that we were able to deliver a striking roof that replicates the original, whilst meeting the needs of a modern day school.
"Furthermore, the acrylic coating can withstand the severest weather conditions, significantly reducing the need for regular maintenance works that can disrupt and inconvenience the smooth running of the school.
I am delighted we were able to meet the design criteria so effectively".
Other Litetile profiles include - Tufftile, Academytile, Tuffslate and Elitetile - offering complete design flexibility for both newbuild and refurbishment projects.
While Litetile's light weight, large size and dry-fix capability makes it easy to fit and virtually maintenance free, saving time and money.
Specifiers will be confident that, as with all Catnic products, they will receive a quality product backed by first class customer service.
