Catnic bespoke lintels support grass
roof house
Catnic has designed and manufactured bespoke lintels to support the distinctive curved shape, turret and grass roof of an exclusive eco-development in South Wales.
Located in Rhossili, on the Gower Peninsula - a designated area of outstanding natural beauty - it is essential that the finished project compliments the existing landscape To do so, private developer, John Williams, is building the single storey, four-bedroom home into the hillside by excavating the ground
This way, whilst the property will be visible from the beach below, it will not disrupt the view of the seascape from the hill above.
The finished building will feature 16 standard lintels and 15 bespoke lintels custom designed to incorporate complex loading calculations by a Catnic technical team with the skill and expertise to deliver with panache.
