A Causeway Technologies product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jun 24, 2003

Causeway Tradex continues to expand Electronic Document Trading across construction industry supply chain - and helps further improve partnering and cost reduction.

Causeway Technologies (NQBS: CAUS), a leading supplier of collaborative, commercial and supply chain solutions to the global construction industry, has further expanded Causeway Tradex.

Already implemented by leading contractors, suppliers and builders merchants, this electronic exchange for invoices and other trading documents, enables trading parties improve partnering as well as reducing costs by streamlining administrative processes.

Causeway Tradex' extensive customer list amongst others includes, Amec, Alfred McAlpine, McNicholas Construction, Hanson Aggregates, GAP Group, Speedy Hire, Travis Perkins and RMC.

Now Greenham, one of the UK's foremost providers of contractors' site equipment, is, as part of its ongoing commitment and investment in eBusiness, using the electronic exchanging of its documents with Amec.

As an existing Tradex user, leading contractor Amec has welcomed this initiative in a bid to further encourage industry suppliers and merchants to adopt exchanging documents electronically.

This drive is aimed at encouraging the industry to offer a higher quality and more cost effective service.

"We are seeing real benefits through improved efficiency as more suppliers exchange documents electronically," said Gerry Walsh, AMEC.

Andrew Tedbury, Sales and Marketing Director, Greenham points out, "Greenham is pleased to be using Causeway Tradex as part of its ongoing drive to achieve increased process automation and to improve customer services." "Causeway is delighted that Greenham is using the Tradex service as part of its push towards a more efficient and integrated supply chain.

It is important that Tradex provides an open information exchange environment for all companies," commented Tim Cole, Causeway's VP Strategic Development.

"Greenham will greatly strengthen and further endorse the industry-wide benefits from the growing Tradex community."
