The Star Project was formed in 1999 by a group of local churches to help people living in the area to develop skills, and today more than 20 volunteers help provide services and activities for local adults, families and young people.
CCG Managing Director Alastair Wylie said the Star Project was a "shining example of local people dedicated to improving their community and providing support for individuals to enhance their life opportunities".
"As part of our contribution to the ongoing regeneration at Shortroods, CCG are delighted to be able to assist the project in relocating to new premises," he said.

David Close, Project Manager at the Star Project, thanked CCG for their donation.
"CCG's generosity has helped us to provide the kind of comfortable and attractive environment that allows us to be a source of friendship, practical help, hope and support to people in this area." The Shortroods regeneration project is seeing CCG build 140 homes for rent to replace outmoded tenemental flats that previously occupied the site.
The project is part of a wider regeneration strategy that includes further social and private housing development.
A feature of the project has been the strong community input to the development plans that has come through the New Shortroods Action Group.
Gordon Laurie, Director of the Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association welcomed CCG's contribution to the Star Project.
"I'm delighted that CCG has again shown its commitment to being more than just a contractor by assisting the Star Project in relocating to its new premises".
"Projects like the Star make a real difference to the lives of people in the communities the Association serves, and we're very pleased that their work in Shortroods will continue from their new premises." Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association was established in 1996 and is a subsidiary of Sanctuary Housing Association, one of the largest and most successful housing associations in the country.
