Ceram provides stone solution for testing times
CERAM will be on hand at the 2008 Natural Stone Show to give advice and expert guidance to stone companies
When faced with testing times natural stone companies will be able to turn to Ceram to make sure they are up to standard.
Experts from Ceram will be on hand at the 2008 Natural Stone Show to give advice and expert guidance to stone companies on all the testing that is required to meet the ever changing and stringent British and European standards.
They are also able to carry out the appropriate testing at their specialist facility.
Ceram's expertise in all applications including; floors, stairs, roofing, internal and external cladding, and a number of products such as natural stone, tiles and masonry, covers the majority of the required standards.
However, the biggest advantage is that the team at Ceram specialising in testing and the site inspections of construction materials, comprises a number of highly qualified and experienced people who understand the products and the industry.
Geoff Edgell heads up Ceram's Building and Technology division and commented; "The influx of natural stone companies importing into the UK in the last couple of years has increased dramatically".
"This means that the popularity of using natural stone has grown, but with this must grow an attention to detail and to the specified required standards".
Indeed the whole of the UK construction industry is under increased pressure to meet required standards for its products and processes.
Manufacturers, who are keen to get it right, can be forgiven for finding the maze of requirements hard to follow.
Ceram is geared up to make sure that we can give the right advice, and carry out the tests, quickly and efficiently.
Visitors to the show will be able to discuss their requirements with the Ceram team on stand J59 at the Natural Stone Show, taking place at ExCel in London form the 11th - 13th March.
