Celotex has launched a completely updated, improved and expanded version of its Handy Guide - the essential guide to PIR thermal insulation for the professional.
Now nearly 50% bigger, the new Handy Guide includes such invaluable features as easy-to-use ready reckoners, extensive U-value calculations that show at a glance what can be achieved with each board thickness in a particular application, detailed illustrations and clear installation guidelines.
Other technical information relating to specific constructions includes, for example, a more extensive section on calculating P/A ratios for floor insulation; reflecting the ever-increasing use of PIR in flooring applications due to its better thermal performance than other insulation types.
Also new in the guide, and responding to the increasing trend towards 'improve rather than move' are completely new sections covering loft and garage conversions.
