All You Need To Know About Wood-Fuelled Heating

New Heating with Wood Fuel courses for homeowners and professionals at Centre for Alternative Technology.

As more and more people realise the environmental benefits of wood as a fuel source, the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) has introduced 2 brand new courses for 2005.

For the domestic and commercial user there's Heating with Wood Fuel Small Scale application, which runs from 7th 11th February 2005.

If you're interested in the design and installation of wood heating systems, there's a Heating with Wood Fuel course running from 31st October 4th November 2005.

CAT has been promoting the use of wood as the best environmentally friendly fuel source for years, and shares it's wealth of experience of using wood for heating on these two courses.

On the small-scale application course, which is suitable for both domestic and commercial users, you'll get to grips with the ins and outs of automated wood boilers, and gain a real understanding of how they are a reliable alternative to fossil fuel heating systems.

There'll also be the opportunity to see the technology in action with local site visits.

If you're a professional heating system installer, an architect or designer wanting to get to know more about wood, the 'Heating with Wood Fuel' course running from 31st October to 4th November is for you.

You'll examine the different types of wood fuels and systems currently available, in both practical and theoretical sessions.

Site visits to local biomass systems also form part of this course.
