You can learn all this and much, much more by coming on an inspiring residential course at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT).

CAT has been inspiring thousands of course participants over the last two decades.

Courses combine the theoretical with the practical and are led by experts with many years of Ohands onû experience and academic expertise.

All courses include accommodation and meals at CAT and an opportunity to explore seven acres of exciting visitor displays.

The Centre is a working demonstration of sustainability.

We generate our own electricity, mainly from renewable sources.

Our new buildings display the latest environmental building techniques and the public toilets utilise innovative recycling features.
