Events at Centre for Alternative Technology, Europe's leading eco-centre, shows how you can make a difference in 2007.

The news about climate change is overwhelming Many of us are now asking what we can do in our own lives to be part of the solution

The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) - Europe's leading eco-centre shows how you can make a difference.

A tour of the visitor centre is an unbeatable way of learning how to live more sustainably, from green building techniques and energy alternatives to organic gardening tips.

You can browse Britain's greenest gift and bookshop and enjoy the delights of our vegetarian restaurant, while the kids explore our eco-adventure playground or delve into the underground world of Megan the Mole and her creepy crawly friends.

Last year we opened three new bilingual displays: 'Energy and Power', 'Waste and Recycling' and 'The Whole Home', all showing simple ways we can live more harmoniously with the planet.

CAT believes that although the issues are serious, learning should be enjoyable.

The centre is open all year and we have planned a series of entertaining, informative events throughout the year.

We look forward to seeing you here in 2007.
