Looking stylish and modern, Bradford's new Co-operative supermarket features Celuform's Ebony Elite fascia and soffit boards.

Skipton based architects Bowman Riley specified the product because they believed that Celuform's Ebony Elite was 'perfect' for the site.

"Ebony Elite provides a sophisticated and crisp look, fitting in with the overall design of the store, which features very attractive light sandstone coloured brickwork and rendering, said architect Adrian Reinch.

Celuform's Elite is a 25mm bull-nosed flat backed board which allows direct fixing of rainwater systems and gives a clean and uncluttered finish to buildings.

The Co-op project needed a 450mm fascia, so a 300mm and 175mm board was used with a joint.

There is also some step detailing where a second finish was used below.

"This has been a very exciting project for us," adds Adrian.

"We specified Celuform's cellular plastic products for the build as they enhanced the overall aesthetic appearance of the supermarket".

The installation was completed by V and E Joiners of Normanton.

"Elite products are lightweight and flexible, so they're easier to carry around on site.

Consistent quality from batch to batch means it handles the same each time, with less off cuts.

We were very pleased with the finished look, which complemented the building's clean lines and classic features," said V and E's John Emmerson.

Celuform was the first UK manufacturer of PVC-ue building products and today is an industry leader.

The company supplies stockists throughout Europe and the UK.
