Celuform is exhibiting at the Chartered Institute of Housing Exhibition with its innovative Celutex product.

Tony Crutcher, Sales and Marketing Director of the Celuform brand, explains how specifiers can benefit from Celutex: "Celutex is the original, lightweight, shiplap embossed PVC-UE building cladding board that provides a stylish and effective means to protect and decorate the exterior of buildings - without the need for residents to continually and costly maintain and decorate it" ""It successfully imitates timber with authentic wood grain look-a-like features and can be installed using traditional wood installation skills, practices and tools

Available in two size formats - single plank (150mm) and double plank (300mm) format for rapid installation, Celutex is completely unaffected by damp, rot, decay, frost and is resistant to attack from insects.

"Celutex is manufactured using PVC-UE stabilisers guaranteed to give the best colour resistance and is available in a wide variety of contemporary colours and complemented with a comprehensive range of colour co-ordinated fixing trims to allow extra versatility and design expression".

Torfaen County Borough Council is using Celutex to re-clad part of its 600 housing stock.

Steve Quick, Planned Maintenance Manager adds: "Like all RSLs, exceeding residents' satisfaction is top of our agenda".

"When maintaining or improving homes, we need to consider key criteria across all the products we specify, including aesthetics, thermal performance, maintenance free properties and their contribution to the general feel of the environment".

"I'm delighted to say Celutex has helped us achieve all of these".
