CORGI Announce The Launch Of 'Worksafe Manager'
CORGI announce the launch of Worksafe Manager, a new automated gas safety form and workflow management system, the first of its kind to be developed specifically to meet the needs of gas installers.
It holds the equivalent of around 80,000 pages of parts information - that's nearly half a tonne in paper form.
It allows gas engineers to view parts images and lists for domestic gas appliances on a Pocket PC.
Engineers can be sure of identifying the right part to help achieve first-time fixes.
The CORGI Partsarena runs on standard Microsoft Windows Mobile-powered Pocket PCs, so there is no need for new hardware.
With this technology, engineers can carry around parts information for domestic gas appliances and have access to it wherever and whenever required.
Baxi heateam's Service Director Lee Robinson said: "Our engineers and help desk staff started to benefit from the PartsArena system from the day it was launched".
CORGIdirect's website has also been updated to accommodate the popularity of the PDA and has been specially designed to be viewed and navigated via a PDA.
Other websites can normally be viewed on a PDA but in most cases the pages are not fully displayed and the images are not clear.
The CORGIdirect website is now simple and easy to use and in the near future even customers using standard mobiles with internet access will be able to shop online with CORGIdirect.
CORGIdirect Manager Adam Jones said these technological innovations and additions to product lines reflect the way business communications and tools are changing.
"The increasing take up of these sophisticated but easy to use technology tools is allowing us to provide our customers with reliable mobile business solutions that save time and money when ordering parts and supplies, when they need to, at the point of action", said Adam.
